Ruidoso Prelude

This track was written June 2015 in Glorietta, NM. Here's the story:

"Melanie and I (Anthony) were getting coffee at Sacred Grounds Coffee House in Ruidoso one morning, about to head out of town to Glorietta for a couple of days then shows in Taos and Santa Fe. I noticed a piano in the back room where we were sitting and walked over to it and began looking at it. Blake Martin, whom we hadn't met yet, was sitting nearby and asked if I was a pianist. I told him I was. We got to talking and realized we had some mutual friends. We learned that Blake ran the theater next door to Sacred Grounds, Mountain Annie's Theater, and he asked if we wouldn't mind checking out the theater and playing him a song. We did. He then asked if we would like to be his featured artists that coming weekend during their production. We agreed since we were due back in Ruiodoso that following weekend to perform at Sacred Grounds. He told us we could do 10 minutes of music or so. We left town to Glorietta and during that time decided that rather than doing songs we had already written, we'd rather just write some new songs. This is one of them. We premiered it on Friday June 5th as part of the original production, Asa Nisim Asa. We couldn't think of a name for it for the longest time so simply decided to call it The Ruidoso Prelude....
